C-diff

Hi, on my last post i mention Michael will have a sigmoidoscopy, will he had a colonoscopy, he had Colitis, all colon inflammation due to C-diff. Dr start him on medicine for 14 day, vicomizyn, 4 pills 4 a days..
Any one with Cdiff..

I've had Cdiff several times over the years.. Vanco is the best medication I've had to treat it.. I ended up having a fecal transplant as I kept getting it.

The dreaded c-diff. So sorry to hear this. We have been able to dodge that bullet, but I know you are not alone. I hope health is in the near future.

I've had c-diff too many times to remember since I was 12.A couples years back I had a battle with c-diff for the better part of a year.Vanco has given me the best end result.I'm Sending good vibes to Michael.

How is he doing? My daughter had CDiff. It took about 5-6 days before she felt better on antibiotics. She was really miserable for a while!

Thankfully, she hasn't had it again.

Thank you. He is doing fine, 8days with antibiotic stool is coming solid some times some times watery, but he feels with more energy than before and eating, but one thing when he goes to the bathroom is a bad smell, it was not like that before. Hopefully he will be better soon. Thank you all. Keep posting you
