Calprotectin/prednisone/test results

i have been on Prednisone for 5 weeks, last week I had the calprotectin done and it came back in normal limits. After about 9 months on Remicade I was at a 52, moved the Remicade to 6 weeks and my result was 18.

Once I hit the 10mg of Pred, my lower back ache and GI symptoms started up a bit again. Last week I had an episode of bleeding. It was a good amount of bleeding. Could have a trigger food/spice, in my case pepper, have caused to bleeding? My Dr said with the CalP at 18, its not a flare.


Any suggestions? Waiting for the Dr to call me back.

Has the bleeding continued at all or was it only one time?

Two episodes. After the first my prednisone was upped to
30mgs again. Talked to my Dr a little bit ago. He does not
Believe it was my CD or crohns colitis. So I am going back down to
10mgs. Getting really tired of all this!
