Can Humira shrink and already formed stricture?

I had a hemicolectomy in May to remove a stricture. 6 weeks after surgery, another stricture had formed. Can Humira shrink the stricture? My doctor said it will help with the inflamation, but I question whether it can shrink the area that has grown almost shut.

Don't think it will do much other than avoid another one forming due to inflammation. Once a stricture has formed I would only expect surgery to resolve it.

If it's a new stricture and is mainly comprised of inflammation then I would think it would be able to help. The problems with strictures come when some of the tissue turns into scar tissue.
