Changing surgeons

Does anyone know if I could have another surgeon reconnect my end ileostomy the other surgeon left most my colon for this reason. But he isnt really a friendly person my last appointment with me he kinda talked to me like I was stupid and was really rude to my fiance. He was like this before surgery but I didn't I just wanted to feel better. Never felt he was carrying person more into it for money. And also he is pretty far from my house and there's another surgeon who is awesome and very caring he was gonna fix my hernia but we both decided I try the belt. He isnt a colorectal surgeon, he is a general surgeon.but does speciallize in crohns. And is highly ranked. Just wondering if another surgeon would touch me now that I had another surgeon. and he is also local

I could be wrong but I don't see why another surgeon couldn't do it.

Hi i think that you should be able to choose a different surgeon if you want to.
As far as i am aware you have the right to do that.
