Im mildly concerned because it seems like Imuran isn't working. I just had some blockage last night. I have been researching some clinical trials and I would qualify for Stem cell research if I fail a biological drug. Whats a good biological drug that is affordable? I would rather not go on Remicade, since it is a life long deal.

The only other biologics are Humira and Cimzia, they milder and cheaper but I have not tried Cimzia and I would think all biologics are a life long thing, but most dont do the trick that long. I too do not do well on the antisuppressants. Remicade was not a good drug for ME,I was in ER after my 3rd infusion. There is Tysabri but no way was I going on that. Blockages means narrowing, I find nothing undoes it could be scar tissue. You had surgery not that long ago. I dont have much to help you with, someone can chime in.

In order to be eligible for stem cell research, I have to fail a biological drug first. I would rather skip the failing part and go straight to the stem cells. I'm sick of Doctors pushing new drugs on me and charging me a ton of money to talk to them for 5 minutes.

Stem cell transplants are way more risky than biologicals. I would exhaust all my options before doing a SCT. I failed Cimzia, but Remicade seems to be working somewhat for me.
