Hi,

I have hard crohn which is not good controlled with therapy long years.(I haven ´t remission) But I have now anxiety because from April i start have swollen lymph nodes, first was tonsilar which gone away few weeks later, after this I found hard lymph node in posterior triangle on right side which is now after more than 2 months less hard and probably smaller. Last I found hard lightly movable lymph nodes above my left collarbone.
I was everytime for everyone lymph node on ultrasonography (3 times) with dopler and they always said that it is chronic reactive lymphadenopathy (my biggest lymph node above collarbone is 17x5mm). Without this I have also small lymph node above my right clavicle (8mm). I have also chronic sore throat, they said that it is maybe from this, but on network is nothing similar. So I want ask if is here anybody who have/has similar issue, because on network are mainly scary informations.

Regards Martin

My son is the the one with crohns disease and when he was symptomatic he would also have swollen lymph nodes. Although, he also suffers from allergies and when those were bad his lymph nodes would swell as well.

I have suffered from lymphoidema as and infection of the lymph nodes that went on for some time. I was put 9n antibiotics and after a couple of months they were better. I don't have crohns disease.

There are probably several members that have experienced swollen lymph nodes with their CD, hopefully they will be along.

Thanks for reply Clash :)

Where have your son swollen lymph nodes? These nodes are painfull or painless? Are hard or soft? I read that in groin and mesenteric lymph nodes can be swollen from MC, but i can not find chain between crohn and collarbone or neck swollen lymph nodes, which confirm any doctor.

And you when have lymhaedema, you have swollen hands or foots like show me google pics? Or only swollen lymph nodes? And in which location? Hard or soft consistency?

Sorry my phone autocorreted the word it should have been I had lymph node infection or lymphadenitis.

In my son, it has been the ones in his neck most often. I can't remember if they were hard or not because it has been quite awhile. I think they were tender but not too painful.

Aha I have these above clavicle 6weeks and they don´t want go away :-( So i don´t know if it is from crohn or from what, probably I go again on ultrasound.

And these yours were hard/soft painfull/painless? and where were? You remember which ATB you used?

Mine started under my jaw then further down neck, they were positionally tender and tender to the touch. I was eventually put on bacteim I think.

Aha I look on these ATB. I will see, maybe else anybody reply with same issue, but many thanks for yours informations :)
