I have seen this question ask before but wanted to tell my story.
Spent the last few days in the hospital. Had to be taken in with the ambulance . Basically been on a downward spiral with diarrhea, extreme pain , weight loss from not eating ,nausea , fatigue , fever ,and finally collapse.
It ended up being ileus . So in effect my colon was constipated but when I had a bowel movement it was diarrhea (sometimes several times a day). Hopefully this can be controlled with meds.
On a more positive note they did a colonoscopy today and it doesn't look like I have crohn's . They found some polyps and will check them out along with several other samples of my colon wall they took along the way.
