Could it happen this fast?

My little farm girl has been tapered of pred for ONLY 3 days. That's it!:ymad:
For the last 3 or 4 weeks my girl has been doing GREAT! No symptoms and no problems.

Well........................ :confused2:She had blood in her stool last night.

:yrolleyes:Could a flare up really happen this fast or is it something else?

How long did it take for you (if you did) to flare up after you stopped pred?

She's on no mantence meds as of yet. She is on full EEN.

Unfortunately it can because steroids are a quick fix but not as you said a maintenance medication. They are a bridge. I hope she gets on some longer term meds soon.
