I have a question for students and parents regarding how the student status is expressed when your medical condition is recognized.
I've heard of disability plan and 501(?) or something like that plan?
I know that most universities/colleges will recognize a full-time status to student that have 12 credits (min 36 hours)/week or more in a semester.
Do these programs permit the recognition of a full-time status or particular status to the students who attend school with a lighter school schedule due to health condition?
If not, do you have access to special grant programs, special position for traineeship, etc.
I ask that because I had to change university because the one I was attending was not offering the program I was interested in and due to that, the new one does not recognize the same status (I use to have a "presumed" full-time starting at 6cr.) and hence, I lost my job and possibility to apply for grant... Which has me a bit depressed as of now (partly why I'm not around much these days...).
