Crohn's and Celiac?

Hi all! Very new to this so any info would be appreciated. I was diagnosed with Celiac in Sept '10. Have been "sick" for 2 1/2 years prior to this. They went after my Gall Bladder 1st and after removal I had no relief. Finally found out a Celiac Sprue bloodwork panel was thru the roof and confirmed diagnosis with Gastroscopy biopsy. Still having no relief with GF diet and past 2 blood tests show highly elevated ESR and CRP levels. They have actually went up since starting the GF diet so my Gastro feels this is a seperate issue he needs to look into. Having colonoscopy tomorrow to look for Crohn's as he feels this is what else is going on. Does anyone else have Crohn's AND Celiac? I feel like I an getting hit with a double whammy here. Thanks in advance for any info!!!

My Mum and Nan have Celiac but I have Crohns. Good luck with your test tomorrow.:goodluck:

I have crohns and celiac. I don't go gluten, wheat, dairy, fiber, sodium, nuts, choc etc I found that eliminating more foods worked best. Good luck!
