Crohn's and Colitis awareness ribbon?

So, totally a coincidence that they just changed the forum picture an I am asking this question. I am heading up a team for our local Take Steps walk next month and I wanted to make a few things using the awareness ribbon color etc. Is the purple just for Crohn's or can it be used for colitis as well?

Usually the ribbon is IBD in
general and most efforts are crohn's and colitis inclusive since they are so similar.
