I was doing some research and I found on the mayo clinic website that crohns can sometimes delay development during puberty. Does anyone know where I might be able to find more specific info on this? I am currently undiagnosed but have had symptoms for about 16 years. After our 3rd child was born just over 4 years ago I found out from a lactation consultant that I have breast hypoplasia. The milk ducts didn't develop properly and I have no milk production at all. I didn't have a lactation consultant for the other children so this was the first I'd heard of this. I'm trying to put the pieces together and I'm wondering if this could be another piece to my puzzle.

I was diagnosed as a child, and I was told due to the disease activity and medications I was put on, I would most likely be late in hitting puberty. This was correct in my case, I was not having my periods until I was 16.

I was able to produce a small amount of colostrum, but I didn't have very much milk production at all. I had to give up breast feeding, I found I could pump and produce more but I had to also use formula as well, due to my lack of milk production.
