Went to the E.R. last night around 9pm because of pain. Ct came back normal according to the doctor but the contrast had not yet reached the terminal ileum or colon. Blood work normal. Temp at check in was 99. When the nurse took vitals to discharge me, temp was 101 and I was still in pain. Doctor ordered more fluids, and Tylenol. About 30 minutes later she said my temp was coming down and the doctor was comfortable discharging me. I am still in a moderate amount of pain (I have not checked my temp today). The last time I felt like this the CT and blood were normal so my GI did a colonscopy. It showed a partial blockage and moderate/severe inflammation. Not sure what to do at this point. Pain medication is taking the edge off but comes back full force 3-4 hours later. Not sure what to do now.
