I wasn't sure where to stick this topic.

We're ingesting chemicals every day; absorbing them through the skin, breathing them, eating them. I have cut down drastically on personal care products. I dye my hair though, and wonder how toxic that is. Probably pretty toxic. I try not to get any on my skin. I just hate having gray hairs. I'm thinking of going to herbals. Anyone have any experience with that?

No, but was wondering about the hair dye thing (I hate the grey too!) and all the toxic chemicals because in less developed countries where they don't have all these bad things there are almost no incidences of IBD

In less developed countries, they are having serious problems with pollution. In India, all the water sources are contaminated with pesticides, chemicals and sewage. In China, they say one fifth of their agricultural land has been contaminated with heavy metals. I won't buy any food products made in China, they sell Europe's Best frozen vegetables here, on the back it says made in China. So they probably have more of these bad things than we do, at least we have laws against pollution.
