Hey Devvynns.... my Dani is doing it too! We should make a plan to get together to do the walk together! It would be great to have company!!! http://bit.do/gutsydanielle

I would love to figure out how to do the pledges she received offline onto the page. I like last year's format better.

I haven't even looked at that part yet! We haven't started our offline pledges. We will this weekend :)
 
I believe the easiest way to do the offline pledges online would be to just pledge yourself with your own credit card in the amount of what you received in cash. Then just keep the cash. That's how I've done it each year so i wasn't carrying any cash to the walk with me. Not sure if this is what you were talking about or not.
 
I received a $500 check from her school. They have to make it out to the organization so I can't charge that by credit card. The cash I plan on doing that with too. I think it makes the most sense.
 
When we received checks, I would mail them to the local chapter and then they would credit our campaign online. Is that an option?
 
I don't see that an an option. I will have to send an email to ask. With her checks she will hit $1,000 & the recognize at the walk the kids that go that high. If I can get her name on that board It will make her feel even better about the effort she made this year.
 
Jlm, I don't have a credit card. We carried cash the last couple of years.

That's incredible! I'm considering participating too, and also want to volunteer for Crohn's and Colitis Canada if I can. :) I hope you all manage to get many more pledges.
 
Our area is always looking for volunteers. I know they are preping not only for the Gutsy walk but the M&M Meats crohns & colitis bbq. Reach out I'm sure they need help! I volunteered this winter at a charity function. It was fun and I met some great people!
 
That's good to know! I was a bit intimidated to volunteer for an event right away, but they sound fun. I submitted in an application in the meantime to help around their office in Toronto, since it's also in my area.
 
Ah! That great! If you don't get word back let me know and I will connect you directly with Erin & Jocelyn. There is a new name I just was introduced to for the M&M BBQ I will have to dig that one out. If you are in Toronto you should come out to the monthly meeting. We just had one Sunday and I'm not sure we are meeting before the walk but i'll find out. I'll send you a PM tomorrow about it!

We volunteered last year at the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation in Toronto making phone calls before the walk.
