Hello forum world
I was recently diagnosed with Crohn's Disease (6-21-12). My GI doctor put me on prednisone 10mg taper (4 tablets a day). I've been having muscle spasms and indigestion / heartburn. My joints have been hurting especially my legs and back. I was just wanting to know if anyone had same issues. I have aso noticed my hands, feet and legs have started becoming swollen as to looki:heart:ng like water retention. I don't have anyone to talk to about this. I'm the first in my family to have it. So any help any conversation would be greatly appreciated. I feel alone since I have no one to talk to. But I have a feeling that yall will be my new friends . Im still trying to figure out what all my body is going through. As all of us have to. My GI said that its Crohns colitis. Imnot sure what that means just yet. But when I had my colonoscopy I had questionable spots in small and large intestines. So they did additional bloodwork "Premethus" spelling could be off. But I'm waiting for those results been 4 days since blood draw. Hope to make some friends here have a great weekend.
