Diet and calprotectin.

Hi again, Kian has to have his calprotectin tested again and I wondered if what you eat can affect the result. We had been on holiday and his diet wasn't so good for the week, I let him eat what he wanted, as long as he ate was what I was worried about. So, if his result stays same or higher we have more scopes to see what going on, he has been on mxt shots now since end of January so I'm praying his result will be lower but scared at same time because of the diet he gad when we had holiday. Xx

Diet does not affect caloprotectin .
It is a measure of inflammation in the gut .

As far as I know food doesn't affect calprotectin. Hope the levels have come down.
