Do you use immunosuppressant along with biologic to prevent antibodies againist biologic drugs?

Do you use immunosuppressant(mtx, aza, 6mp...) along with a biologic to prevent building antibodies againist biologic drugs?

Yep, Imuran (50mg) with Remicade. I was on Imuran prior to remicade as well but it wasn't doing enough and so I stayed on it to prevent Remicade antibodies.

My 5 yr old is on Humira and MTX.

I'm on 6mp and remicade. my blood work shows that the 6mp isn't therapeutic for me, but my doctor seems to think it helps me to take in my remicade better

I've been using mtx but it isn't working... So I am going to start vedolizumab soon but I don't know if I should stop mtx after vedolizumab or keep taking it(to prevent building up antibodies[?]). What do you think people?

We do Mtx with Humira. Wish we did it with Remicade when she was on it we might have prevented rejecting that drug. Highly recommend the combo therapy.

My son is on Remicade and 6mp. His doctor will look to drop the 6mp once his blood work shows steady remission and he has clear scopes.
