does anyone have a hard type section in their stomachs?

Hi there! Me again! Another question! Lol. So glad I found you all! As I've mentioned I do have a hernia that does cloud things....but for those of you who have Crohns do you feel an area of hardness, almost mass like in that area? My CT scan shows a 10cm abdomen wall defect (aka) hernia. BUT it just so happens the 30cms of affected area in also located in that same area. Wondering how much of this big thing is hernia versus plain inflammation in my small intestine. Does anyone else actually physically feel a section like this upon feeling? Or do you all just have the pain? Thanks!

I definitely have hard sections in my belly. Its harder during a flare and all over, but that's because of inflammation. When its more "normal" I can feel it is slightly harder on the right side, but that's where I have some scar tissue from surgery. I guess to answer your question in short, yes!

Hi, I am new to crohns, I am on remicade at the moment and b12 along with iron IV when needed. I have noticed a hard swollen feeling along my left and right side and on the upper left and right hand side of my stomach. I was trying to figure out why I have that but I would understand if it was inflamation but I am in a flare. Well havent went into remission yet, diagosed in March. WSe r all in this together so stay strong!
