lol that sounds kind of funny :p

I mean, right by the bellybutton to the right, in the lower right quadrant, do you notice tenderness and soreness, sometimes a "burning" sensation, particularly when you palpate it?

I think I should name my Ileum...Sally's angry! LOL. jk...

No because I'm in remission. But if you feel pain when touching it it means it's inflamed most likely. Make sure you get the help you need Sea_Star.

Thank you Kiny and Sarah.
Yup, I was off meds for 2 years until June 2014. Tapered Entocort October 9, 2014, started 2g Pentasa Sept. 17th, 2014 (bumping up to 4g today) since I might be having some probs w/ 6mp started last Mon(stopped temporarily last night).
Hopefully not...since I tolerated it in the past...:frown:

I feel ileum pain constantly. I have chronic inflammation and scar damaging from the inflammation...but everything else in my colon and small intestine looks good so docs are unwilling to do anything about it.

Really?? How long has the inflammation been active? Have you been on medication and it STILL gets inflamed? I'm sorry to hear this...as I know it's scary thinking it might lead to surgery or a perforation. Knock on wood it doesn't!
