Drug interactions

Just found this drug interactions checker, you type in the drug name and it brings up a list of drugs that interact (including herbal remedies). If you click on the name, it tells you how they interact and what might happen. And whether you need to stop taking one, lower the dosage, monitor carefully etc.

Thanks Rebecca, that's very interesting. I put in my list of meds and it listed a couple of interactions I didn't know about. Apparently I'm not supposed to be taking Lomotil when I'm on Amitriptyline - no wonder it makes me constipated when I take both! Now I know and I won't be taking them together anymore.
