Funny, I only get the cough when the thought of my GI comes up. How odd..... maybe I should have her take a look and tell me I have a broken toe.

I have the obvious personal interest, not only myself having Crohn's but my father died of colon cancer.

It's nice to see someone doing something for "our" disease. I get so irritated when I see these commercials for women's makeup that can keep your skin from ageing and such, its like why don't you guys put the money that went into that research towards helpin us folks that really need it!! I'm sure when I'm older and still suffering from Crohn's I'm not really gonna care that I can buy makeup that will make my face look better!!

Sorry for the rant! Its just so irritating!!

So true. I admit I had never heard of it until I was diagnosed. More than slightly embarrassing.

This is a great thing that they are doing. My father-in-law died from colon cancer. Janis is great about getting screened and having her colonoscopies done for early detection. She pushes her brothers to get it done but like most healthy guys, they just put it off.
