Hey everyone i no its easter time and theres loads of easter eggs about and everyones eating choclate i was just wondering if you can manage choclate or it gives you alot of pain, ive been eating it and really dont find it does anything although my gastro tells me to not take it?

Chocolate, causes me alot of bloat and gas. One piece won't hurt but who can on eat just one piece?

my gastro keeps telling me to not eat it but i can tolerate it im not tolerating alot of food and am loosing so much weight so eat choclate to try and keep it from getting lower i dont see the problem but yes have noticed alot more gas oooops lol maybe i should stop

My system can tolerate some chocolate (like a creme egg) when things aren't bad -- but a single chocolate covered blueberry had me begging for a quick death during a bad spot a couple of months ago.

One thing that's kept me from having too much chocolate lately is that the enamel is wearing off my teeth from throwing up so much -- so, sweet foods can be pretty painful to eat.

I really, really wanted some of those chocolate marshmallow-filled bunnies...but I knew I would be paying for it later if I ate some.

I have no problem with chocolate, and even if I did, I wouldn't give it up!

So far, I am fine with chocolate, thank goodness. I am a chocoholic after all.

I guess you will just have to test out your system and see if you can handle it! What a hardship! Go ahead, eat chocolate, I say!

I enjoy dark chocolate. I love the 70% cocoa Lindt orange chocolate bar or the dark chocolate Lindors by Lindt. So yummy.

Why does gastroenterologist make such a big deal over you eating certain things i have told her that i dont think it affects me because i know when things do but she just gave me a look like dont eat it? Dont understand

I guess some of the ideas floating around about what "MIGHT" be a cause or complication come out in all these different recommendations. The sheets I got about what to eat when I was released from my initial stay in hospital included chocolate. Chocolate Pudding was a big part of my diet actually.

I eat the stuff with no qualms

Probably because Chocolate today isnt really chocolate lol.. the darker chocolate is supposed to be good for you. But I dont like it. Plus chocolate has caffeine and can cause D and the fat is hard to absorb. Technically it is junk food and has sugar. I had some Sunday with no ill affects, but wont have it again for awhile :)
