I'm not a doctor and I don't know jack. I wouldn't advise the use of this stuff if you don't currently know the extent of stricturing you're experiencing. However, the clay doesn't expand like psyllium husks or anything. So drinking copious amounts of water and taking before physical activity might be the real protocol to add to the mix.
I've tried this stuff as directed--usually only a tablespoon per 150lbs weight, twice a day--for a few days in a row, every few months. I tried Sonne's #7 with no problem. Some sources of bentonite clay are more clean than others, however I haven't done the research to delve too deep into the matter.
I wouldn't recommend the super cleanse methods that combine psyllium/flax seed/bentonite clay unless you know for certain that you don't have significant strictures or current activity--if this is possible short of a recent capsule/endo/colo, I don't know.
Thanks for the reminder. I need to get back into this considering the Fuku fallout...just because the EPA upped the limits of "safe" radiation exposure doesn't mean I'll duck and cover, thinking all is well.
