I just wanted to write a quick encouragement to all those suffering from symptoms of Crohn's Disease - it is a terrible illness! I am so sorry for all that you are going through, but I can tell you from experience, it gets better! I was diagnosed last year, at the age of 18 during my last semester of my senior year of high school. I struggled for the past year with figuring out the right medications, and have been hospitalized for months on end. I was sure it would never end - but just when I had reached my lowest, things began to turn around. I had to take my first semester off from college which really tore me apart. But I started school in January and absolutely love it. I met my boyfriend of 1 month at school, and he is one of the first people I have ever told about my illness, and is just as supportive as my parents have been. He is truly the most amazing guy. In short, keep your head up. Things will turn around. Don't try to do it on your own, surround yourself with people that love you and will support you - and the ones that don't, don't deserve you and you don't need em! Best of luck to you all!

Thank you so much. Sometimes we need that reminder.

I'm glad you are doing well and wish you more health and prosperity down the road :)
