Entocort-stomach aches/feel worse??

Hey everyone. For those on Entocort EC, did you feel worse when you started it? I took it 4 years ago for a short time and can't remember, but I started 6 mg last Friday and I do not feel well at all....my CT scan last week showed mild inflammation/enhancement in the TI, but I've had left sided pain and right UQ pain and RLQ pain (i'm assuming due to inflammation) for the last 2 weeks or so. But since Friday, I feel like the Entocort is just making me feel worse...then again, are we supposed to take it with food??

Hi, I'm on entocort and I feel the same doesn't seem to help my symptoms anymore I'm newly diagnosed only been on it a couple of months xx

I had the same problem with entocort. Was on it for a long time awhile back, but was having constant diarrhea for over four years so i didn't notice any difference while taking it. I was taken off of it while in a medically induced coma (thanks to a nearly lethal combo of high dose chemo and remicade). So once again as I attempted to taper off the prednisone (which I've been dependent on for over ten years) I began the transfer on to entocort, and out of nowhere, the D returned with a vengeance! I've seen more than my share of bizarre side effects, but this was definitely a surprise to me! I think it may be an ingredient in the coating of the capsule.
