sorry for the way this is going to be typed but i`m down an arm. so i was having some severe pain around my elbow for a few days and yesterday it became intolerable. ended up in the er last night and they believe its tenosynovitis caused by the humira. has anyone else experienced such fun side effects? suppose i`m lucky cause i thought it might have been a rupture. i am due to take the humira today and will be calling the gastro to see if i should. it still hasn`t done much for me... kinda keeping the fistulas at bay so it is doing something. today will be 10wks on it and i`m not impressed with it or my body.

Haven't heard of that side effect before but I did a little research and what you may have is a symptom of psoriatic psoriasis. Humira is known to cause psoriasis as a rare side effect. It is also possible that you would have developed this anyway, it's hard to know.

Regardless, I'd call the GI before your treatment.

Orthopedic says its a tear or rupture, need an MRI to confirm. Its a very. Small chance its from the humira, like 0.2% that's the lottery I would win. they have me staying HUMIRA for now.
