This time around, I REALLY am regretting not getting back on the saddle when I thought I wasn't falling off...

how long have you left inflammation untreated and did it result in scarring or stricturing?

I've seen 4 GI's this year.

May-1st one(3.5 hours away) I returned to after 2 years-prescribed 6mp when colonoscopy (same month) showed mild inflammation. (Accepted I needed treatment, but decided to try other ways first-LDN & SCD)

June-(GI#2 for this year) prescribed Entocort 6mg...CT Scan showed assymetrical thickening in TI, but mild.

Aug.-GI #3 that I was waiting to see, said to start 6MP. Wasn't happy with his management so went back to a GI I had 3 years ago...now said Pentasa would be enough.

Oct-tapered Entocort, on Pentasa 2g...saw GI #1 again. The weeks after tapering, RLQ soreness increasing, he put me on 6mp. Started it Oct. 27th, stopped it a week later after some symptoms, not knowing if Pancreatitis or not. Increased to Pentasa 4g, waiting for nurse to tell me to start again.

It's a MESS which could have been prevented if a)I had continued 6mp despite feeling great 2 years ago. or B) at least re-start it in May of this year.

Now I have duodenitis/gastritis due to Entocort :frown:

I'm SO regretful right now and scared about what could be happening and how I've caused things to go wrong(Scarring, etc). 2 weeks ago I cried over taking 6mp, yesterday I was crying because I regret not tackling it earlier this year! (I am a "have to see with my own eyes type of person") Taking liquids for a while now!!

Oh and to add to the mix: I'm having some LLQ aching...diverticula were found in my last colonoscopy so naturally, I worry if it is diverticulitis :(( I'm SO worried about everything that's going on...
I mean, this year was the first time I felt pain in different areas of the abdomen so maybe this flare has new victim areas...
