Seems like madness! I'm off all my Crohn's meds and feeling better than ever on them?
Went to the GI last week after a course of Flagyl, Ciprofloxacin and Prednisone. It made no difference to my diarrhea. Still like water, urgent and frequent.
In the end, The GI tells me that he thinks I’m the problem and that the symptoms can’t possibly be from the Crohn’s! Must be from something else.
So, I’m having a rebel week and decided “F*&^ him” and went off all Crohn’s meds. If it isn’t from Crohn’s, then why am I taking Crohn’s meds, right?
Was permanently on: Pentasa x 4, Nexium 40mg x 1, Trepeline x 2, Glucophage 1 morning, 1 night
Had: backpain, nausea, general abdomen aches and pains, fatigue and permanent diarrhea (on an elimination diet)
I’m only taking Nexium now and feel great. Low/ no diarrhea. Eating what I want.
Is this just a honeymoon and it’ll all come back? Anyone else experienced this?
