Hi All,

I am just wondering that when you have a virus does your crohn's act up? I had a pretty high fever the other day and when I was ill I also had the worst inflammation pains in my pelvis- bones, muscles-- stomach and guts didn't hurt unless you pressed around. I didn't have any loose stools as I am not prone to that anyways.

When the fever passed I was better but I am unsure if what I had was a flare or a virus or maybe both? I also started my period so I am wondering if that har anything to do with it.

Any insights anyone has would be helpful - there certainly is inflammation in me but I am unsure if it is coming from my guts-- I do get aches and pains but not many digestive issues so I still question if my dr has things right with my diagnosis.

Hope everyone is well and thanks for your help!!

Generally for me, my Crohn's settles slightly when I am ill with a virus. But a virus or fever will lead to muscle and bone aches, even a bad cold can leave me feeling like I have the flu! (but I know it's not as I have had real flu before and it's on another level- besides, this passes too quickly)
