Took me 2 years + to get to this point, and I was told this morning my official diagnosis is Crohn's.

My family doctor has been fighting for me all week. After a trip to the ER and a CT scan, I was told to follow up ASAP with my GI. Earliest they could get me in was Nov 13th. My GP wasn't happy with that, and he called and talked to one of my GI'S partners (she is away at a conference) he looked at the CT scan and said without a doubt, crohns.

So tomorrow I start Entocort. I am hoping I respond well to it, I really need my life back

Congrats and condolences, Kero. I hope the Entocort works well for you! (It usually does take anywhere from a week to a month to kick in, so give it a bit of time to start working.) For what it's worth, Entocort got me into remission awhile back and I spent 2 lovely years in remission, so I hope it does similar good things for you as well. Sending you a big hug!

Thanks Cat! I really do hope it works. I desperately need to go back to work, have bills that need to be paid
