Finally got my biopsy results!!

After 7 long weeks I finally have my biopsy results. They show that I have previously had inflammation in the colon but everything seems ok at the moment. I'm now waiting on an appointment with the consultant and I've to hand in a stool sample for faecal calprotectin.
Went back to work today after 3 months off. Absolutely knackered and feeling pretty sore but I'm just glad to be out of the house!

Hi did anything show in colonscopy I had mine yesterday nothing shown done biopsies still off work since feb

Yeah the biopsies taken from the colon showed that I have had inflammation but still no diagnosis of anything yet. I'm waiting to see the consultant to see what the next step is.
Hopefully you get your results soon.

Going back to steak?

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Ease into your work if you can so it doesn't burn you out. It's surprising how much is drained out of us when we are doing "nothing."

I shall be playing it safe and avoiding steak.

My work have me on a phased return so I'm not doing as many hours as I used to at the moment. I slept for 11 hours after my first day back and needed a nap the day after I was so tired!
