Flagyl round 2

So gi put DS on flagyl again
Since he got considerable worse once we stopped it .
BMs increased
Rectal pain and stomach /nausea got worse
Also doing more bloodwork and seeing ped to rule out infection

The problem is everyone agrees something systemic is going on
We just can't get whatever it is to show in any bloodwork or tests so we can't figure out how to treat said thing
Flagyl wasn't a miracle drug but...
At least kept things from moving firward like a run away train

Well I do hope they find it.
My niece was just dx at the age of 10 with Congenital disorder of glycosylation.
This is usually dx at birth but for some reason has been overlooked by at least 15 doctors.

I’m so sorry to hear you are still in limbo mlp. :ghug:

I hope the second round of Flagyl provides some relief and in the meantime they can get to the root cause of the problem.
