Got my Flexible Sigmoidoscopy done today (Damn do i love Citro-Mag, makes u feel like a champion for the next 24 hours!) and Hurrah, my doc talked to me right after we finished and other then one or two very light inflammation spots, which he said are really nothing at all, my colon looks 100%. I just wish i felt 100% right now and not like a giant Pinata who needs to be popped, lol. Just had the first solid food for about 14 hours, so hopefully that settles things back down, everything is so gurgly, lol:ybatty:

Gurgleeness aside, that is great news! It is good to know your regimine is working.

Next best thing to not having the disease at all.

Congratulations! I would love to hear those words some day.

Was just curious, how long did it take for ppl to "reset" from a scope. This was my first time taking Citro-Mag and its a day after and my body is still not back to normal (D is gone but everytime i eat i can hear my intestines working at it) I dont have pain or anything but i can tell that the flow of things is not up to par.

I also realized that my 4 weeks of building up a good dose of bacteria from my Activa yhogurt has literally gone down the drain, so i guess its back to the gas and such until my system settles back out....woohoo...

Hey, that is really positive news. congrats. I don't recall any issues after a sigmoid scope procedure, but I have experienced definite issues after colonoscopy preps. In my earliest ones, I'd have like a full remission that lasted 1 - 3 days on average. On my last 2, I didn't have that.. guess because on those, my colon was in it's worst condition.. However, figure the cleanout wipes the slate clean (so to speak) on the good bacteria count, and it probably reduces the ruffage/fibre in the digestive track required to help digest food. So, the intestinal system is probably working overtime and your 'good' bacteria are hopefuly busy breeding... making a little extra noise in the process.. I mean, some just like to make noise during sex.

Ya, like i said, my problems didnt seem to be CD-like, just stuff like bad gas, and a lot of digestive gurgling....i have been making sure to eat lots of activa the last two days though, hoping that by "wiping the slate clean" i have flushed out both bad and good, so by shoving lots of good in me, hopefully they will overpower any bad stuff. I hope it doesnt last though, if i let one slip i might clear out the office lol
