I have been diagnosed with gastritis but I think they are off, I suffer from constipation chronically and hardly eat at all during the day, I typically will only eat at the end of the day. I work four part time jobs and have noticed I am getting very exhausted and blacking out as soon as I come home, I am also a vegetarian so I have been basically living off of miso soup, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cashews, etc. My symptoms are increased with eating gluten so I stray from that...

What diet would you suggest for me to be able to eat during the day? Also how bad is it to only eat one meal? Does that make it worse?

Everything I have been reading suggests I have Crohns.

Symptoms are daily constipation, loose movements not runny tho and cramps. Every once in a while I get that sharp left pain in my left side.

Have you been to your doctor about this yet? If you think you have Crohn's, you should ask for a referral to a GI to get checked out properly.

The most common diet to go to when we're in flare is a low-residue diet -- low fibre. So seeds, nuts, and raw vegetables are things you should be avoiding. Are you eating those things partially to deal with your chronic constipation? I would recommend things to take for constipation, but if you do have IBD and you're in flare, you should really talk to a doctor about it, first.

From your post it doesn't sound particularly likely you have Crohn's.

If you're blacking out from hunger then eating more before you get to that point would quite obviously be a good idea. Why haven't you been eating during the day?
