Had my upper endoscopy

Oh my goodness what an absolutely vile horrible test!

The camera was massive and I was retching and gagging the whole time it was in there.

It was absolutely awful! Nasty nasty stuff!

Glad its over with - now awaiting biopsy results.

I going in next month, and after having a cystoscopy, this is nothing. But after finding out about the reusable cameras, I'm so done! And they're interchangeable between colonoscopy and endoscopy, SO DONE! I'm glad you're done and made it out unscathed!

No I managed it with just the throat spray - if I had to have it done again would definitely need the sedation. What an awful test.

I hope they wash the cameras inbetween the colonoscopy and gastroscopy.

It's not a bundle of laughs, but at least you've done it and hopefully never will need to again (I hope I don't either).
