Hi all, my 18 yr old daughter has had two surgeries and has been on steroids, imuram, humira, and for the last year and a half only on Remicade. She has had hair loss before, but it has come back and mostly the hair loss was on her arms Abd legs. Now she has hair loss above her ears that is only getting worse. What is it from, and more importantly, what can she do ? Thank you for your tips!!!!

All of those medications can cause some hair loss as a possible side effect unfortunately. Many members suggest taking biotin to help and some have noticed a difference while others may not. I'm currently trying it myself as I have some hair thinning from taking 6MP. I've only been taking it for about a month now so I likely won't notice a difference for another month or two. She may also want to have blood work done to see if she's low or deficient in anything as certain ones being low can cause hair loss like vit D, iron, B vitamins and even too much Vit A can cause hair loss. The likely main culprit is the medication but every little bit helps.
