Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if your symptoms from Crohn's Disease/Colitis have improved while using a fish oil supplement? I've seen them recommended as a supplement to medication.

I take 4g a day (EPA 1480 mg, DHA 920 mg per day) not enteric coated. I've been taking the capsules for 1.5 months. I've noticed that my symptoms are not as severe:

1. Reduced urgency for #2
2. Can hold out longer during an urgency episode
3. Less blood in #2

Symptoms - occasional gas

What is your experience taking the capsules? :strawberry:

I've read through other posts concerning this subject, but they are several years old.

I used Krill Oil when diagnosed. I never noticed any difference in the Crohns, but it did end my life long depression. Unlucky I had Crohns but lucky that the depression was gone. The depression was worse, so I think I got the better end of the deal.

Hi Dan, I was wondering what brand of Krill oil you use?
