I am really nervous about it next week. I know its not a proper operation- I am just going under and having deep tissue removed from the lumps in my colon but im just feeling very aprehensive about it.

I havent even read anyone who has had to have an EUA so im just so confused right now xx

I had a eua just two weeks ago. I was the same as you nervous but mine was for different reasons. Please dont be worried its very routine, you'll wake like youve been in a deep sleep. My recovery was quick walked out that afternoon maybe 5hours start to finish. It would tAke them possibly 20mins to complete. It's nice and short. Hope it all goes well. Good luck

Would you mind me asking why you had to have an EUA and how long the results take? Shes told me that Im not going to be able to do much the next day- it was orginally for christmas eve but has been forwarded.
The tissue samples have to be cut out :/ argh cant wait till its over and done with lol x

I have fistula and wound break down and sinus so my eua was to figure out surgery or remicade. They don't always give you the results taught away especially since yours are biopsies theoretically. I requested my surgeon come speak to me afterwards so maybe ask whether they do because some don't, they won't speak to you till your follow up app which is usually in a couple of weeks afterwards. They give you an app on your discharge.
They told me I'd be in pain but I was uncomfortable instead but my normal duties went ahead the only real thing was sleepiness

The follow up will be bang smack in the middle of new years lol not a nice way (potentially) to start the year lol OR maybe a really nice way! Only time will tell. Im just happy to get it over and done with- not looking forward to running around after a 3 year old and entertaining an 8 month old baby afterwards much though lol xxxx
