Hey all! I've been MIA for awhile but popping in to say hi. How is everyone? I posted on the facebook/myspace thread of Jeff's. If anyone wants to add me just let me know.
I'm doing well..I guess...I have been smoke free for 6 months. :D
I think I am trying to flare up again though. I had surgery 6 yrs ago...so it's probably about time. I am starting to get some low grade temps and more D. I take cholestyramine powder and it "was" working very well at keeping the diarrhea controlled. I was drinking it maybe once or twice a week. Now I am up to drinking it daily.
Anyways, I hope all is well.
Big Hugzz!!

Hope you can get a handle on that flare. I hate when people have to have surgery.

Good to see you again.

Dan

Hey Tonya. Good to see you again. Sorry to hear that you may be flaring again. I find it interesting that your flare seemed to start about 6 months post quiting the tobacco. Odd coincidence... that's almost identical to the timeline of my flares on the occasions I quit. Don't get me wrong, not suggesting you start smoking again. Resuming won't put the genie back in the bottle, AND smokings does kill people. I 'could' be seeing a connection where none really exists. (between your flare AND the smoking cessation). Just know that I do have fears my quitting will result in... a flare, downturn, what have you, and my doctors share that fear. Still planning on doing it, just via an extremely slow taper using nicotine replacement therapy, AND lots of doctor/self surveillance.
