Help need answer!

My daughter started doing her prep today for colonoscopy tomorrow. She is on her fifth glass of the drink to cleanse her and has not gone to restroom at all. On the paperwork it said within first hour she would be having diarrhea. Is this normal? She has problems with constipation on a daily basis so is this the reason it's taking her longer? Should we be worried ?

I wouldn't,t be concerned it's an average on these leaflets and we all vary

My norm was diarrhea all day and yet with the colonoscopy preps it took about 3-4 hours after starting to drink the stuff before anything would happen.

Everyone is different, it can take a few hours. I wouldnt worry if you follow protocol.
