help with this flare!
i'm 8 months post hemicolectomy, recent mri shows returning inflammation. three nights ago i started the most severe bout of D I have ever had, and it is still going, really watery and urgent and frequnt and now yellow and burning. I got on some entocort so at least that is something. But no matter what I eat these past few days once the food gets to the lower part the pain and D starts. it seems a little better, but not much.
Should I get on that Questran or something like that? I think this has to be from a flare, not from bile absorportion issue post surgery (as I would think I would have had that for that past 8 month no?).
Anyway I'm feeling weak and hoping this subsides. I canceled all my wekeend plans and have been home as I'm afraid not to be around my bathroom. not fun! thanks for listening if nothing else. it can be a lonely disease without a partner in your life.
