Some people may remembr me from years ago. Had to re register as I haven't a clue what my password was. My old username was ruthymg. Anyway to cut a long story short, I've had crohns for approx 18 years. Had a bowel resection in 2006 which left me with a stoma. Had that reversed in 2008, caught c diff!!! That's a whole other story!! Symptoms returned within 12 months, had numerous meds. Currently on mesalazine, mebeverine and codeine phosphate. Tried humira, got bronchitus 3 times.........found it was rubbish so stopped taking it. Currently waiting to see my consultant next week to see what new ideas he's come up with. Now about me n not the illness........I'm 38 married, two kids, housewife, bubbly chatty n deal with whatever life throws at me. I'm no expert on crohns although I wish I was. I'm an expert on my illness tho, hoping to chat to you guys, old a new soon x

That you caught bronchitis three times while on Humira makes me wonder about your vitamin D levels. People with Crohn's Disease are commonly deficient and that plus the Humira could certainly lead to recurring Bronchitis. Have you had your levels tested?

Hi Ruthy! It's great to see you back here :ybiggrin: I am sorry to hear about the troubles you have had with the tum and that it is still causing you jip, I hope the appt nest week goes well and your doc can sort something that is going to work for you, pls keep us updated on how you get on.
