Hi everyone!

My name is Amanda, I'm 25, and am married to a Marine. I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 10 years ago.

Right now I am taking Humira 40/mg per week, Pentasa, Nexium, Bentyl, and Zofran. I use to only take Humira once every other week, but I ended up in the hospital after losing 40 pounds because that was just not enough, apparently.

I only know 1 other person with Crohn's disease, so I am really looking forward to getting to know some of you. It is always comforting to know that there are people out there who understand what you are going through.

My husband is awesome and he takes really good care of me, and is really understanding, but it's just nice to hear from people who actually go through it too.

Hi Amanda welcome!! We really do understand your disease, and I was on Humira weekly but wasnt working so why continue. I use high probiotics that have helped me and I have the odd flare, when I eat something I shouldn't. I am happy you have a supportive husband as I do too, I dont know what I would of done without them, he is my rock and that has made having Crohns bearable. Hope to see you around!
