Saw my consultant today, and following my recent scope, plus good results from remicade, he now wants me to increase the amount of fibre i have.
Im a little puzzled, as ive always thought that eating a lot of fibre 'increases' the amount of times you visit the loo as it keeps you regular?
I did say that i can go from 8am til 2pm without emptying my j-pouch, but then after going i need to go again, and then again within the space of an hour.
Hes given me a print out of foods to increase, but looking down the list, its pretty much all the stuff i find that 'increases' my frequency?! eg/brown rice, wholemeal pasta, weetabix etc..
Has anyone else been advised to up their fibre intake?
