I have been having chronic diarrhea for the past 9 months. My doctor told me it is IBS based on all my tests(They have looked for anemia, CRP, ESR, pANCA, ASCA, thyroid issues, celiac disease, liver enzymes and blood glucose levels. The last one was due to me having diabetes. They also did a colonoscopy up to the terminal ileum with biopsies) coming back normal. However, I am questioning that diagnosis due to that fact that I've been having high volume watery diarrhea. I have read that high volume watery diarrhea is linked to small bowel diseases. I have also read( can't find the link though) that IBS is usually small to moderate in volume. Did any of you guys experience high volume watery diarrhea that eventually led to a diagnosis of IBD? Keep in mind that all my tests have back normal. The only test left is the capsule study. What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated.
