Ok I went to the Dr today for my Remicade check up.

Remicade not really working- yet- tried Prednisone for one month. Symptoms are
back. Cramping and diarrhea.

Had my vit. levels drawn. Vit D is 18. Just a little low. according to the Dr.

How has a low Vit D level affected you?

So I am going to add Entocort back in for 6 weeks to 3 months. If I am still having trouble "we" will add Imuran. Starting Vit D with calcium and Vit C with iron, not sure why on that one. Also a probiotic- any suggestions on that one for me? All suggestons welcomed. I think I will add in Vit B12 for the heck of it.


Has anyone been on ony of these combos? What works best for you?


I refuse to give up! I know we can find the right combo!

VSL#3 is a very good and strong one. But you need a prescription from your doctor. DON'T Give up.

Yes I am on Entocort and Remicade. My reason is I am only 3 infusions into Remicade and I was kept on my steroid for 3 months till it all kicks in.

Only side effects are from steroid. Usual suspects and I just used to it all anymore

VSL #3 is probiotics. It comes in Liquid form [little envelopes] or pills. They have to be in fridge.
