How do you manage to take Pentasa (4000mg) 1000mg, 4x aday

I'm suppose to take 4000mg (1000mg -4x aday) but i find myself only taking 3000mg. How do you manage to take it 4x aday ??? Is it every 6 hours between dose??? What time schedule do you follow???

I take mine 3 times a day, morning, dinner, and bedtime. I take 3 pills the first 2 times and 2 at night. My doctor said that was an ok and more realistic way to administer it.

Well if you were under nursing care they would give it to you probably at 8AM, 2PM, 8PM, 2AM.

You can set your alarm clock if you want or you can just do the best you can (probably changing to hour of waking, hour of sleep, and then spacing out the other 2 as much as you can) but that's how it's supposed to be taken.

I take tablets at mealtimes which makes it easier to remember.

The hardest time is when some have to be taken "with food" and some "on an empty stomach" - that is a nightmare !!

I always seem to remember the "before food" ones when i am half way through my tea !!
