How long does Humira stay in your system?

Hey, guys.

I was wondering how long Humira stays in your system? I haven't been on Humira for almost 5 weeks now.

Someone had told me, it stays up to 10 weeks in the body.

My best guess would be about 2 weeks, since most people re-inject on a 2 week cycle.

Half life is 10 to 20 days. So it would all be cleared in about 6 weeks

I looked into being a blood donor and found out I cannot donate until six months after my last Humira shot. So it must remain for along time.

I think there is a big difference between half-life and 'still in your system', especially for donating blood. I'm not sure it would ever be a good idea to ever donate if you have Crohn's, as you need it!, and anything left over in your blood could potentially put other people, very vulnerable ill people, at risk.

Their website says the effects can hang around for 5 months. It said you can have side effects for this length of time.
