How long should I wait for my MRI scan results?

I had my scan 2 weeks ago on the Wednesday 7th March. Should I ring them now and find out why they're taking their time? The radiologist said that we should here from my specialist in a week and it's been two now.

Also, which number should we ring? I looked on Poole Hospitals website and there are two numbers on to pages... so not sure which to ring.

Should I ring now or wait a bit longer? How long does it usually take for the results to come through?

I am seeing my GP doctor on Friday, so I could ask her then, but she probably won't know anything as she's the GP not the specialist. She just likes to check up on me and see how I am.

In my experience, test results etc go to my GP and she'll call me in if she wants to go over them or there is a change in treatment plan. I guess you could call the surgery or the office of the specialist who ordered the scan and they might be able to chase them up if there's been a delay?

Here I get scan results the same day or the next day at the latest.

Mum called up my specialists office and the hospital have had my results for days, but my specialist just hasn't read them yet so she'll do it tomorrow so we should know by next week or week after.
